It's THAT time of the year again! While sending out dozens of little packages with "wichtel" presents all over the world...wait...you don't know what wichteln is? Jeez! Let me enlighten you, young padawan.
Wichteln is a German word, and it refers to some legendary tiny dwarves. Alright I see that's confusing. Hnm...There's a box. Someone gathers the names of everyone who wants to participate to the "wichteln" and writes names separately on pieces of paper, tosses them in the box and shakes it harrrrd.
Someone (usually the youngest or the one who organizes it) then puts all the names of the participants on a list, and starts drawing names from the box. As in List -> A *draws C* C has to make a present for A, but neither of them know from who the present is. No name will be on the present x).
So this year we do "wichteln" at the office at work, and on a different internet side as well, and I proposed to do "wichteln" on Nicht Ka as well as an X-mas OOC event. Should be fun.
Yesterday I went to snoop on one of the Game of Thrones RP realms. Stunningly awesome Para Rpers were around, so I guess I'll try to join that RP realm too since it sounds promising and fun to me (I love the books and the series and there's huge potential in a RP realm like that). No meter again, which suits me greatly. Going to play a white haired human, not sure yet if I want her to be a warriorish girl or rather something else for a change. Hm. Anyways, things roll well. Gotta get my presents together.
